Bloomers Day Nursery staff are a very friendly and loving bunch who are very passionate and enthusiastic in their roles as Nursery Practitioners. Our staff work very much as a team, all having their own areas of responsibility and expertise. In addition, they are trained and qualified in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children in their care.

Most of our staff are qualified at Level 2 or 3 in Childcare and some of our management team have qualification up to level 6 qualification in management. All our senior staff have recognised Paediatric First Aid qualifications. We have a Nursery SENCO who works closely with the Area SENCO to support those children and their families who require additional help with their learning and development.

We also take on Nursery Apprentices who are working towards their Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare. All Nursery Apprentices are assigned mentors who are qualified up to Level 3 Nursery Practitioners.

We employ carefully screened staff, who are qualified and/or experienced workers. We are committed to working with you and your child to ensure that they receive the very best care and educational opportunities at the Nursery. We ensure that all Bloomers Day Nursery staff have an Enhanced DBS Check. This is routinely updated through the Online Updating Service. We also require a minimum of two references from past employers and college tutors for staff.

Our staff undergo continuous professional development and training to ensure that they are fully trained to the highest standards in order to provide a quality education for the children.
