Our Toddler Rooms are very spacious and they have easy access to the outdoor garden play areas and these rooms also have their own toilets, just for the toddlers, in all our nursery branches. Our Pre-School rooms across all our nurseries consist of large open rooms which all have easy open door access into the garden outdoor play area. Pre -Schoolers also have specially designed age appropriate toilets next to their rooms.

All of our rooms open up into a well-furnished and specially designed play area, adapted to meet all of our children’s needs. Our nurseries are designed to the very highest quality and safety standards to create a bright and stimulating environment in which your child will be safely cared for and their needs met.

Your Learning

The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

The EYFS framework explains how and what your child will be learning to support their healthy development. Your child will be learning skills, acquiring new knowledge and demonstrating their understanding through 7 areas of learning and development. Children should mostly develop in the 3 PRIME areas which are:

Communication and language

Physical development

Personal, social and emotional development

These prime areas are most essential for your Child's healthy development and future learning. As children grow, the prime areas will help them to develop skills in 4 SPECIFIC areas which are: Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the world, Expressive arts and design. These 7 areas are used to plan your child’s learning activities. The professionals teaching and supporting your child will make sure that the activities are suited to your child's unique needs. Children in the EYFS learn by playing and exploring, being active and through creative and critical thinking which takes place both inside and outside.

Tapestry

We use Tapestry in conjunction with the EYFS development stages to assess how are children are progressing in their learning and development, through observations and reports.

Tapestry helps to keep parent/carers involved in their child’s/children’s learning journey at Bloomers Day Nursery.
